The Scientific Foundation for Financial Transactions

About the Foundation

A scholarly research foundation in the jurisprudence of financial transactions

The Scientific Foundation for Financial Transactions was established as a specialised research body concerned with the jurisprudence of financial and banking transactions, approached through the Islamic scholarly tradition according to the school of Ahlulbayt (AS) and the rulings of its leading jurists, and engaging equally with financial research produced within the other Islamic schools of thought.

The Foundation examines newly arising financial questions through a rigorous method that combines jurisprudential grounding with an informed reading of economic practice, and publishes its work as research, studies, and scholarly articles available to researchers and interested readers.
